At AOSC, we continue to monitor all recommendations regarding how to deliver care to our patients in a safe environment. At this time, we are prepared to follow the recommendations of multiple public health organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association(GDA), the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), Georgia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (GSOMS), the Georgia Department of Public Heath (DPH), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which are to cease treatment of elective cases at this time for a period of two weeks.
We consider the COVID-19 a significant public health crisis and we want to do our part to help promote the safety and well-being of our patients, ourselves, our families, and our community as a whole. We will maintain limited office hours during this time and will still provide essential emergency care to our patients.
